Art Lessons For Kids, Teens, and Adults
Workshops focus in on one theme and/or medium and are open to as many people as space will allow.
This was an adult silkscreen printing workshop at a neighborhood cafe in Brooklyn. An evening like this is a really nice opportunity to meet neighbors and to learn and be creative together.
This was one of an ongoing drop-in workshop series at the cafe. Each Sunday morning kids could drop in for a new art activity. And parents could enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee.
This workshop was co-hosted by watercolourist Shirley Hogg at State of the Art Gallery in downtown Ithaca.
I ran this workshop for the afterschool program at Belle Sherman Elementary. These puppets have sculpted features and mouths that move. There were about 40 students that day and I am proud to say that this project enticed ALL of them to participate for the full hour!
